Finally got around to reading this announcement in detail.
Basically... the MD deserves respect.
I have been doubtful about OBMs funding situation, but this surely reduces any need to raise capital to ensure they get into full U/G production over the next 12 months. Well done to holders who have stuck it out.
The deal itself reads well too. OBM keep plenty of upside whilst securing much needed cash (a better deal than the recent PNR deal).
Anyway, for me, it just pays to spend more time on researching new MDs, as really, OBM would have surely by now failed again.
My only real question now is how much to value OBM at. I think $400m E/V seems... a little high, at least until the U/G proves to greatly reduce the ASIC, but... if they can prove up a second U/G source of ore... it's cheap. Just IMHO.
