I like the prospects and potential of this company, but a concern for me are the ongoing costs associated with keeping Didipio in a state of semi-readiness, these are in the order of US$8-10M per quarter (Goldman Sachs). With Waihi suspended for at least a month, this could put the Company in a very tricky financial position.
Imo it might be time to call Duterte's bluff and threaten to place the mine into C&M and see who blinks first. That's the quickest way to find out where his loyalties truly lie - to the mine workers and their families, or the environmental activists. If Didipio really was valued at AUD$0.96 p/share to OGC, then it's obvious the market is currently attributing zero value to it.
I think OGC is really hard to value right now, but it's definitely starting to look very cheap imo. But everyone, pls do your own research.
