Don't declare liquidation quite yet (LOL) OGC may get the NZ government to agree that the Macraes Mine operation is an essential service and be able to carry on. That is a vain hope I think in the circumstances but it is worth a try by management.

And is a 4 week shut down going to be that critical in the scheme of things. Probably not. Given the fact that the recent price of gold has been so high then OGC must have been getting some benefit from that.
The closure of Macraes for four weeks (if it definitely happens) will certainly be seen as another negative in the current malaise about Didipio and Covid-19 damage to the global financial activity.
But OGC will survive.
