    "a flick of sheep" may have something to do with counting sheep when trying to get to sleep. I mean if you think about how you try to visualize individual sheep passing by, or my favourite vision is them doing a slight leap as they pass and I count.........so they flick by ..... a bit like that flickering image in those old black and white silent movies. Hmmmm....... a sort of a "woolly jumper" I guess.
