I'm guessing the SP retrenchment we are seeing is the people in the know easing out of LEG for this reason.
On a side note, has any research been carried out on the samples to test for REE?
Seems from recent research where you find Ni there can be traces of REE as well.
Obviously depends on quality and quantity to be of any value.
