I think the objective in drilling a bench B is to ascertain flow rates from a second bench and hopefully add reserves by having that flow rate data in fiesta. The sooner they drill a bench B then the sooner they can look at the stacked potential of the field.
Having siad that I totally see what you are saying about how this appears to be a change in focus, but the thing that has me questioning whether we should read this much into this information is the fact the company is still providing EUR's on Fiesta which indicate bench A is a goer, eg still promoting higher oil saturations and permeability versus that AREX or EOG University well. Surely if they were reviewing their strategy based on the early results from a long lateral in bench A then they would be changing some of that information.????
One thing is for sure I am going to tune into TG's webcast because he tends to say a lot more when on the podium than we see in the papers they release.
