Now a few questions on Geoff's resurecting the scare campaign against dividends and franking?
Can someone explain to me why the rationale of co's. raisng debt for divvy payments is a sound business practice ? It is a false economic strategy that is paid for by people who dont own stocks. Superfunds and millionaires have enough assistance from gvt as it is and aarent they the ones who benifit from the borrowing to pay divvies ?
What is wrong with those payments having to come from profits and not borrowings when we can claim the Franking as a tax detuction?
Surely he should rally against negative gearing, if he is being genuine in looking after the 'mums aand dads' ?
How many mums and dads have enough to be advantage by off market buy offs.
