Impressive initial production rate result that must sustained over the duration of the test period. No reservoir pressure decline please and when they such the well in for a pressure build up survey, the pressure builds back up quickly........ Odin-1, unfracced, commingled production from the Toolachee and Epsilon Formations. The initial gas rate is in line with expectations from nearby wells at Beckler - a nice result Cara. The stabilised flow rate is now key and what the gas rates from different choke sizes. I interpret from the announcement that they have perforated five (5) sands in the Toolachee and two (2) in the Epsilon Formations. It is unlikely that this is one single connected gas column. It is more than likely a series of separate gas sands, with varying degrees of reservoir connectivity. As a result, there may be some measure of gas cross-flow between sands.

The "water of condensation" (46 bwpd) is an important element. Is it really "water of condensation" or possibly formation water...... Beckler 1, 2, 3 gas production from the Toolachee was water free. However, Bow 2 Toolachee gas production also produced formation water (but in the 100's of barrels of water per day) during its production life. So, I am hoping that the Odin-1 "water of condensation" does not steadily increases over the timeframe of this production test. If it does, we may have some formation water production, and if we do and Bow 2 is anything to go by, it may be coming from the Epsilon Formation and not the Toolachee.
