Mt Goode ore could could be floated, I think the issue is there's no plant capacity around. The Cosmos mill will be full. The core of Mt Goode is over 1%. Trucking wouldn't be an issue if the nickel price goes to US$20k/t.
I'm not a metallurgist but I recall that Murrin Murrin does takes some other products to sweeten the blend going into the plant. Glencore earn the sulphate premium on the other end as well so the incremental DSO costs on a small part of the feed probably matters less if it could help them stabilise the feed characteristics going into the plant.
