Yes I hope WGX don't enter a bidding war.
If I am right then WB has achieved what he wanted,if WGX walk away.
RMS are obviously after securing the barely touched tenements south of MT Magnet,so may or may not flog off what WGX originally wanted for some cash.
If WGX secured those tenements then RMS would have become a natural future target or maybe just their nearby mill.

IMHO RMS needed to take a punt to keep feed ahead of its mills and $200m is a hefty price when more cash outflow is needed to prove up and get any resource producing NEAR its mills.It's shareholders can live with the impending dividend dilution.
I am not sure but believe further payments may be due to the vendors of those Southen Mt Magnet tenements.

Maybe Now is the time for WGX to cash in its 2,5% or more MGV holding and keep stashing the cash and if adding any more resources via acquisition then make it cash.

What's happening with Andaaman and the nominal 2.5MT Kirkalocka mill I wonder,now everyone is busy spending cash,digesting new acquisitions and diluting existing shareholders,yet not producing more immediate ounces as a result?
All getting themselves consumed in a buying frenzy and spreading themselves ever financially thinner.

DYOR + DYODD It wasn't that long ago both RMS and WGX shared the same share price----No longer and hopefully never again.
WGX Unhedged with an innovative WB Cap and Collar to protect income without the liability of hedges with rising tons coming now and rising grades and 300kt of spare milling capacity to take those tons currently claimed by WGX with its current blends.
