I look at the facts and how I rate the people involved and in the end nothing stops a smart man from making a mistake or others forcing an unpalatable decisions upon them.
So you can never know for sure is the answer.
You takes your bets and risk the outcome.
WB impresses me as a man of the finer detail.I know many such people and no move is without a final positive positional outcome,if it can be had.
I just go back to how apparently cavalier and matter of fact the WB interview on the offer was.
I think he said if someone wants to make a better offer----we value MGV where we are or words to that effect-so be it-its a very good offer.
WB is nothing but blunt from what I have seen, from both that and his first presentation for the company.
Worth looking at that offer interview again in hindsight maybe, there may be a clue in that?
Think about it-who would be mad to pay $170M for access to an unproven pit 40km away needing development, that would average out around 3-4g/ton when mined -no better than many of your existing resources in house and give away just under 20% of your profitable business for it,-Madness
No its the MT Magnet tenements recently acquired by MGV that someone else desperately needs and is paying for.
RMS could have had them for a fraction of what its paying now if it had sought them from the original vendor.
WGX gets 2.5% of the deal via shares bought this year cheaply,if not more accumulated since the original offer announcement and gets RMS occupied elsewhere.
The bigger fish has taken the bait and will have some newer shareholders selling down by years end.Higher grade ore is often replaced with lower grades and company fortunes change. rather quickly.
If it hadn't been now RMS would be talking to WGX in a few years with a starving mill,or the other way round.
