Was never really confident about the chances of getting the CRC-P grant particularly when you factor in how many applications they receive. Well done to management it is quite a coup. The funds will be used to help fund a substantial and significant pilot plant run allowing for more testwork/refinement of process etc. Importantly an extended run will allow for potential off-takers to come in and have a look.

Even more so than the money, which is substantial for a company capped at only $9m, I think it shows a real committment and will from the Federal government to get behind this. It should be noted that the last few rounds of CRC-P have been targeted towards critical minerals. Being one of the companies that have received money for this in the same month where the government has started the Critical Minerals Facilitation Office to help get critical mineral projects off the ground is significant. The Department that has setup the Criticals Minerals Facilitation Office: The Department of Industry, Innovation and Science. The Department that grants CRC-P:The Department of Industry Innovation and Science.
