OFFICE: ANB: Appointment of Michael Bullock as ANZ NZ COO

On 5 February 2015, ANZ announced that Michael Bullock would be appointed
Chief Operating Officer of ANZ Bank New Zealand from 2 March 2015, subject to
the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) confirming it has no objection to the
appointment.

The RBNZ has confirmed today that it has no objection to the appointment of
Mr Bullock as Chief Operating Officer.
