OFFICE: ANB: RBNZ Approval of new Chief Risk Officer

On 22 March 2013, ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited announced that Mr Bruce
Macintyre was to be the new Chief Risk Officer of ANZ New Zealand, subject to
Reserve Bank of New Zealand approval.  Pending that approval, Mr Macintryre
has been Acting Chief Risk Officer.

Mr Macintyre formally commenced as Chief Risk Officer on 19 April 2013
following receipt of the approval of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.
