APPOINTMENT OF COMPANY SECRETARY

Bathurst Resources Limited ("Bathurst" or 'the Company" ASX & NZX: BRL) is
pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Bill Lyne of Company Secretarial
Services Pty Ltd to the position of Company Secretary.

Mr Lyne's appointment is effective as of today's date and follows the
resignation of former Company Secretary, Mr Graham Anderson.

Bathurst also advises that Company Secretarial Services Pty Ltd has been
appointed its local Agent in Australia for the purposes of the Company's
registration with the Australian Securities & Investments Commission as a
foreign company and its ASX listing. As a consequence, the Company's contact
