Appointment of Chief Financial Officer and changes to Leadership Team
Contact Energy Limited (Contact) is pleased to announce the appointment of
Graham Cockroft to the role of Chief Financial Officer of the Company with
effect from 2 July 2012.
Graham is currently Contact's Chief Operating Officer with responsibilities
for the operation of its wholesale, generation and LPG activities, including
generation development. Prior to joining Contact, over the period of nearly
two decades, Graham held numerous senior roles internationally in BG Group
including finance, strategy, business development and asset management.
Chief Executive Officer Dennis Barnes says "Graham brings with him to this
role both great expertise in finance, as well as a deep understanding of both
Contact and the industry. We look forward to working with Graham in his new
role".
Peter Kane, General Manager Operations and James Kilty, General Manager
Trading, Development & Geothermal Resources will also join the executive
Leadership Team with effect from 2 July 2012.
