SENIOR APPOINTMENTS ANNOUNCEMENT
Delegat's Group announced two senior appointments today. Long time Managing
Director Jim Delegat has been appointed to the new role of Executive Chairman
and Graeme Lord has been appointed Managing Director. Both appointments will
be effective from 1st May 2014. The present Chairman, Robert Wilton, will
remain on the Board as a Director.
Delegat's Group has achieved tenfold growth over the last decade and plans
significant further growth over the next 10 years. The Group's strategic goal
is to build a leading global Super-Premium wine company. These appointments
will provide the company with strong leadership to achieve this goal.
As Executive Chairman, Jim Delegat will provide strategic direction and
monitor performance to ensure successful delivery of Board approved business
plans. Jim Delegat is uniquely qualified for this role given his depth of
industry expertise and visionary leadership of the Group for more than three
decades.
As Managing Director, Graeme Lord will lead the company with responsibility
for developing growth plans, building a high performing organisation and
executing business plans. Graeme originally joined the Group in 1999 and for
the past 6 years has excelled as General Manager, Global Sales and Marketing.
Graeme Lord is 45 years of age with degrees in Commerce and Arts. Prior to
joining Delegat's Group he worked as a Consultant with the Boston Consulting
Group.
The Board looks forward to working with Jim and Graeme to further develop
Delegat's Group to build a leading global Super-Premium wine company.
