OFFICE: FBU: New executive appointments announced
Auckland, 11 October 2012 - Fletcher Building chief executive Mark Adamson
today announced two executive appointments.
Paul Zuckerman has been appointed to the role of Chief Executive - Laminates
& Panels, filling the vacancy that was created with Mark Adamson's
appointment as Chief Executive Officer.
Paul was previously Chief Executive - Steel since joining Fletcher Building
in 2007. Prior to joining Fletcher Building he had held a number of senior
management roles in BlueScope Steel Limited in China, Australia and the USA.
Paul holds an MBA from Ohio State University, and a Bachelor of Science
degree (Chemistry) from Syracuse University.
Paul will continue to be based in Melbourne in his new role.
Gerry Bollman has been appointed Chief Executive - Business Strategy and
Performance. This is a newly created executive position with responsibility
that will encompass Strategy, Operational Excellence, Procurement, Digital
Strategy, and Corporate Development, including M&A and Divestments, as well
as all aspects of performance management.
Gerry has been a member of the senior management team of Formica since 2008
based in the US but working extensively across Europe, Asia and India, and
has more recently spent time working with the Laminex team on their
restructuring programmes. Before joining Formica he spent 7 years with the
global management consultancy Booz Allen Hamilton. Gerry holds an MBA from
The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and a Bachelor of Science degree
(Finance) from Xavier University in Cincinnati.
Both appointments are effective immediately. A further announcement on the
leadership of the Steel division will be made in the coming weeks.
