DEATH OF ANDREW HIPPERSON
It is with the deepest sadness that Goodman Fielder advises of the sudden
death of Andrew Hipperson, managing director of the company's Australian
business. Andrew was killed in a motor cycle accident, south of Nowra, NSW
on Saturday 18 January.
"Andrew was a valued member of our Group Executive Team and successfully led
our Australian operations for just over the past two years," said Goodman
Fielder CEO, Chris Delaney.
"In previous roles at Goodman Fielder, Andrew was the managing director of
our Home Ingredients and Asia Pacific businesses. He was widely respected
both within our company but also across our industry.
"Andrew will be deeply missed by all of us. We offer our deepest condolences
to his wife and family and the thoughts and prayers of the entire company are
with them at this very distressing time."
Until Andrew Hipperson's replacement is named, the Australian business will
report directly to the CEO, Chris Delaney.
