KATHMANDU HOLDINGS LIMITED APPOINTS GENERAL MANAGER OF RETAIL - STORES

Kathmandu today announced the appointment of Alison Evans as the General
Manager Retail - Stores, a new role in the Kathmandu Executive Team reporting
directly to CEO Peter Halkett.

Alison has over twenty four years of retail experience, and for a large
portion of her career she worked in the UK. Her employment at Marks and
Spencer included roles such as Head of Selling for their Homeware Division.
She has worked in Homebase (a large DIY retailer) and latterly as UK and
Ireland Retail General Manager with Argos (the UK's number 1 catalogue
retailer). Alison moved to Australia at the start of 2013 to work as General
Manager Stores for Target Australia.

Alison brings both a wealth of knowledge working in large retail companies
and has extensive executive level experience working in a number of store
operations and HR roles over the years, none taking her far from the
customer. Alison will be based in Kathmandu's Melbourne office and the
current General Manager Retail (Australia) and General Manager Retail (New
Zealand) positions will report to her. Alison will start with Kathmandu in
mid-October.
