KATHMANDU HOLDINGS LTD EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENT
Paul Stern, currently Kathmandu's General Manager Business Development and
Sustainability, has been promoted to the new role of General Manager,
Marketing, Online and International, effective from December 1st. Paul will
become Kathmandu's senior marketing executive, following the resignation of
Tamalin Morton, General Manager Sales and Marketing, who leaves Kathmandu in
mid-December.
Paul has been with Kathmandu for nearly 5 years and during that time, his
primary permanent role has been to lead the Business Development &
Sustainability function, including all Online based business activities. He
has also managed the Marketing function during periods when Tamalin was on
maternity leave, and amongst his key project work has been the management of
the Brand Refresh Program, and the launch of our inaugural Sustainability
Plan and associated initiatives. More recently Paul was given responsibility
for development and implementation of our international growth strategy,
which will continue in his new role.
Prior to Kathmandu, Paul was the General Manager Marketing at Kmart, and in
his 20 year career he has substantial Australasian and International
Marketing experience.
Alison Evans, Kathmandu's new General Manager Retail - Stores, commences her
new role with Kathmandu tomorrow, 14 October.
