The board of Kirkcaldie & Stains Limited (the Company) has appointed Philip
Shewell as acting chief executive to lead the management team of Kirkcaldies
while it is considering a number of strategic options for the business.

Mr Shewell was a director of the Company until February 2014 and he has many
years or retail and management experience.
Mr Shewell will assume the role of acting CEO on 8 April 2015.
