Meridian Energy today announced the appointment of Sandra Pickering as
General Manager - Information Communications and Technology.
Sandra has extensive experience in information technology with large
international organisations at very senior levels, including Chief Technology
Officer and General Manager Information Technology at Vodafone New Zealand.
Meridian Energy's Chief Executive, Mark Binns said that her experience in
information technology intensive companies would be of great benefit for
Meridian going forward.
Sandra replaces Glen McLatchie who resigned to join Sky City Entertainment
Corporation Limited in Auckland.
Sandra will start with Meridian in July.
