OFFICE: MPG: Metro Performance Glass Senior Management Changes
Metro Performance Glass Limited (NZX.MPG; ASX.MPP) has today announced the
following changes to its Senior Management Team.
David Carr, the company's CFO, has tendered his resignation and will be
leaving Metro Performance Glass on 31 July 2015. Nigel Rigby said "I would
like to thank and acknowledge David's impact. David has made a significant
contribution to the company and has assisted me in the transformation of
Metro Performance Glass, particularly in navigating the IPO process and
transition of ownership from private equity to a public company. The finance
capability and team have improved significantly during David's tenure."
As a result of David's resignation I am pleased to announce that John
Fraser-Mackenzie has joined Metro Performance Glass as Chief Financial
Officer and Company Secretary. John worked for Goodman Fielder for eight
years, the last seven years as Financial Director. John most recently has
been consulting to Fonterra. John has a Bachelor of Business Science in
Finance from the University of Cape Town and will be working with David to
ensure a seamless transition.
Dean Brown will join Metro Performance Glass in the role of North Island
General Manager on 6 July 2015. Dean has an MBA from Auckland University and
is currently responsible for the Upper North Island for Transpacific Waste
Management.
Darryl Mac the former Upper North Island Region Manager has left Metro
Performance Glass after nearly 25 years with the company over which time
Metro Performance Glass has developed into a market leader. Nigel Rigby said
"I would like to thank Darryl for his substantial contribution over many
years."
The Senior Leadership Team of Metro Performance Glass will now consist of:
o Nigel Rigby - Chief Executive Officer
o Geoff Rasmussen - General Manager Operations
o Barry Paterson - General Manager South Island
o Dean Brown - General Manager North Island
o John Fraser-Mackenzie - Chief Financial Officer
