OFFICE: NZO: Senior management appointment

John Bay has been appointed to the role of Vice President and General Manager
Commercial and Operations at NZOG (New Zealand Oil & Gas Ltd).

John Bay has over 30 years of international oil and gas experience. He is a
former Managing Director of L&M Energy Ltd and until recently was the Chair
of the Petroleum Exploration and Production Association of New Zealand
(PEPANZ).

NZOG Chief Executive Andrew Knight says "John has been consulting to NZOG for
some time and most recently helped us with our expansion into Tunisia. I am
very pleased to have someone with his knowledge and experience join us
permanently. John will be a key member of the senior management team at NZOG
and I expect him to contribute strongly to the company's future success."
