OFFICE: NZX: Appointment to newly created NZX Head of Markets Role
NZX is pleased to announce the appointment of Aaron Jenkins to the newly
created Head of Markets position.
Aaron joins NZX with significant experience across the financial markets and
agriculture sectors. Most recently, he has been at Fonterra as General
Manager Trading Among Farmers (TAF), where he designed and implemented the
globally unique TAF ecosystem. Prior to this, Aaron held senior roles with
E*TRADE, one of Australia's largest non-Bank Financial Services businesses,
firstly as CIO, then as Head of Wholesale Broking.
Aaron will lead NZX's Markets team, supporting the increased activity in New
Zealand's capital markets and interest from private companies looking to
list, along with NZX's customer service to existing issuers and participants.
The team also includes NZX's Derivatives and Smartshares businesses. Aaron
will be based in NZX's Auckland office, which recently relocated to Zurich
House, in the heart of Auckland's Central Business District.
NZX CEO Tim Bennett commented: "I am delighted we have been able to attract
Aaron to NZX to fulfill this key new Head of Markets position. Aaron will
play a valuable role leading our markets team, ensuring that the listing
process is as simple as possible for companies that are considering coming to
market.

momentum in the market."
