New Chief Financial Officer Appointment
18 September 2012 - NZX is pleased to announce the appointment of Bevan
Miller as Chief Financial Officer, effective December 10, 2012
Bevan comes to NZX with extensive financial experience in both the corporate
and accounting sectors at a senior level.
He is currently CFO at Acurity Health Group Limited (formerly Wakefield
Health Limited) an NZX-listed owner and operator of private hospitals. Prior
to that Bevan held a number of senior finance roles at Telecom New Zealand.
Bevan started his career with global accounting firm KPMG, working in their
audit division. Bevan brings considerable expertise in accounting, financial
reporting, and financial performance management, as well as a broad set of
commercial and strategic capabilities.
Tim Bennett, NZX's CEO, said, "I am delighted to welcome Bevan Miller to the
NZX Senior Management team. He brings a set of skills and capabilities to NZX
that will strengthen our business and support us as we further develop NZ's
capital markets".
