NZX ANNOUNCES CHANGE TO SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM
10 October 2012 - NZX is pleased to announce the appointment of Mandy Simpson
as Head of Operations, with responsibility faor Market and Issuer Services,
effective November 19 2012. Mandy joins NZX from Fronde where she is CFO and
GM of Technology Solutions. Prior to Fronde, Mandy held a number of finance
and operational roles in New Zealand and the United Kingdom, including
several years in the Regulatory News Service at the London Stock Exchange.
NZX's CEO Tim Bennett said, "I'm looking forward to having Mandy join NZX and
working with her to broaden the range of services we offer our listed
companies. She brings a combination of operational, exchange and company
experience that will support our business growth."
Simon Smith, the current Head of Market Services, has resigned effective 31
December 2012. Simon joined NZX in 2004 and has held a number of roles,
including leading the establishment of NZClearing Corp, NZX's Clearing House,
prior to the formation of Market Services.
Tim Bennett said, "Simon has made a tremendous contribution to NZX overall
and Clearing in particular and we wish him well in his next endeavour."
