OFFICE: NZX: NZX Head of Energy update
NZX announces that Shane Dinnan has accepted the role of Head of Energy and
will start on 10 February.
Shane is an experienced executive with a background in the energy and
financial services sectors. This includes a period at NZX in 2009 following
NZX's purchase of M-co, where he had previously been for 13 years leading
their energy market operational activities.
Shane's appointment follows the resignation of Erich Livengood who joined NZX
in 2010. Erich will leave NZX in April to take up a new role in the energy
sector.
Erich has made a significant contribution to NZX's energy business and more
broadly across other NZX businesses including the Clear Grain Exchange in
Australia, and Link Market Services, the registry business of which NZX owns
50%. Erich's leadership and knowledge will be missed, and we wish him well
for his future.
