OFFICE: PGW: Appointment of PGG Wrightson - GM Livestock
PGG Wrightson is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Moore to the
role of General Manager, Livestock.
Peter has had a long career in farming followed by a series of senior
management roles in the New Zealand agriculture industry. In his current
role he has led the development and operation of Fonterra's farming
businesses globally with a large focus on China and Brazil. In past roles,
Peter has run AgResearch's farms in New Zealand, and has been responsible for
overseeing Fonterra's international milk quality and risk management areas.
PGG Wrightson's Chief Executive, Mark Dewdney said that he was very pleased
to be welcoming Peter to the company. He has led and managed large teams,
and has direct experience in many areas that are highly relevant to PGG
Wrighton's Livestock business.
Peter will report to Mark Dewdney and will join PGG Wrightson on 11 August
2014.
