PGG Wrightson's Chief Financial Officer Resigns

PGG Wrightson Limited (PGW) announced today that its Chief Financial Officer,
Rob Woodgate, has resigned.  Rob is planning to take some time off over the
summer period before exploring new career opportunities in the New Year.

Rob will continue in the role and to support the Board, the Chief Executive
Officer, Mark Dewdney and the Management Team through to the end of November.

A replacement CFO will be appointed in due course.

Mark Dewdney said "Rob joined PGW in April 2009 and stepped into a business
considerably different to the one we have today.  Some fifteen months later
he took on the CFO role and extended his scope to cover Technology, Shared
Services and at one point HR and Strategy.  Over this period he has worked
closely with the Board and Management and been central to reshaping the
financial position and strategy of the business.  Today, with Rob's input, we
have a financially healthier and more dynamic business to grow from.  Rob
leaves us having secured a number of key achievements and also in the
knowledge that he has been part of a significant turnaround in fortunes for
PGW.  We'd like to take this opportunity to wish him all the best in his
career.  Rob is a high quality CFO who would be an asset to any business".
