The Directors of Smiths City Group Limited announce that the Group has
contracted EQI Global Limited, Executive Search and Recruitment Company, to
commence a search for a Chief Executive for the Group.
Current Managing Director, Mr Rick Hellings, who has held the Chief Executive
Officer's role since 1 November 1999, is stepping down after a long and
successful period of 30 years with Smiths City Group and its subsidiaries.
He has agreed to remain until a new Chief Executive Officer is appointed, to
ensure a smooth transition.
