Skellerup appoints new CFO
Skellerup Holdings Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Graham
Leaming as Chief Financial Officer.
Graham comes to Skellerup having had more than 12 years of senior commercial
experience in multinational organisations. His most recent position is Chief
Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the NZX listed firm Rakon.
Prior to that he was Finance Director Asia Pacific for Rayonier Inc.
Chief Executive Officer David Mair said: "Graham is clearly a high quality
and experienced executive and will be a great addition to the senior
management team. Skellerup is New Zealand's largest industrial rubber
supplier with customers in more than 30 countries including Australia,
Europe, North America and Asia. We are an international business that
supplies a variety of specialist industrial and agricultural applications and
operates across many currencies. Graham will be an important team member to
lead our finance operation as we seek to capitalise on the many growth
opportunities that lay before us."
"During his career Graham has accrued extensive experience in managing
businesses growth and change having led due diligence and commercial
arrangements on several international transactions and the subsequent
integration of these. He has developed a particularly good understanding of
the tools that are required to manage the risks around exchange rate,
commodity demand and pricing volatility that impact an international business
that has a high level of reliance on export markets. At Rakon, Graham was
also responsible for building a Finance team capability and resource and
system controls to transition the business from a private company to a
rapidly growing and more complex public and international business. Our Board
is very excited at being able to attract such high calibre executive with
relevant experience to be part of Skellerup's senior management team."
Graham will begin as CFO in January 2013.
