OFFICE: STU: Gary Smith Joins S&T Holdings Leadership Team

Steel & Tube announces the appointment of Gary Smith as General Manager, S&T
Stainless, with immediate effect.
Gary will report to S&T Holdings CEO, Dave Taylor, and join the S&T Lead
Team.
Gary began his steel career in 1989 within the UK sales office of Dutch
steelmaker Hoogovens. Following its merger with British Steel to form Corus,
Gary transferred to the Corus Colours business, with sales responsibility for
the UK, Ireland and exports.
When Tata acquired Corus in 2007, Gary relocated to New Zealand in 2008 with
responsibility for Tata Group tinplate and pre-painted steel sales to
Australia.  This included an 18-month secondment to Melbourne. He
subsequently returned to New Zealand as Commercial Manager for Tata NZ
(Australasia) Ltd.
