New starter at Trade Me - Stuart McLean
Trade Me has appointed Stuart McLean to join its executive team and lead
Trade Me's general items marketplace.
Mr McLean is currently the Chief Revenue Officer at Xero. Prior to Xero, he
worked for Google in Australia for three years as Head of Enterprise for
Australia and New Zealand. He has previously held executive positions at
Oracle and Chandler MacLeod, and founded and ran a distributor for the cloud
ERP solution NetSuite.
Trade Me CEO Jon Macdonald said he was looking forward to Mr McLean joining
the executive team. "It's fantastic to have someone of such high calibre
joining us - Stuart's strong experience and great energy is going to be a
real asset for Trade Me."
Mr McLean said the role was an exciting new challenge for him. "Trade Me is
one of New Zealand's best-known businesses and has a unique place in the
hearts of Kiwis. I can't wait to help Trade Me press on with its plans for
growth."
Mr McLean will start with Trade Me in February.
