OFFICE: TRP: Change to Transpower's General Management Team

Transpower's General Manager System Operations, Kieran Devine has announced
that he will leave Transpower on 30 May 2014 after leading the System
Operations division for the past 12 years.

Kieran has made a major contribution to the energy sector during his time at
Transpower, and the company wishes him all the best for the future.

John Clarke, Transpower's current General Manager Grid Development, will
become Acting General Manager System Operations, starting 31 May.   John has
had substantial experience in the real time operation of the grid which he
gained in previous senior roles within the System Operator division.

Roy Noble, Asset Engineering Manager (Lines) will become Acting General
Manager Grid Development on 31 May.
