OFFICE: TRP: New Transpower General Manager Announced

Further to a previous announcement on 16 April 2014, Transpower announced
today that John Clarke has now been permanently appointed to the role of
General Manager System Operations, effective from 31 May 2014.

John is currently Transpower's General Manager Grid Development, and has been
with the company since 1998.  He has had substantial experience in the real
time operation of the grid, gained in previous roles within the System
Operator Division.
