My whole argument was that if WPL thought FAR had a serious case with even had a remote chance of winning then they would have done this from the start. So the big question I have is why haven't they?

To me it looks more like FAR is desperate to be taken over and trying to be as annoying as possible to try force WPL hand. I think WPL and CNE want to finish exploring these blocks before the time frame for doing such is up, the problem is that doing so, FAR would have to raise significantly more capital, prior to FID, likely within a year forcing an EGM to approve a CR. You have now got two serious players in this block who want to get things done and with cash to do so. This is my interpretation of what I think is most likely going on...
