This is my view. We are good at complaining.....with MZN saga we complained about MD, with SQM JV again we complained and now Tesla offtake.....same complain. For me Tesla is an excellent strategic move for the following reasons;
1. It speaks volume of our quality/standard
2. Free PR
3. Enables us to negotiate better with other potential partners such as BMW, VW etc
4. Another tick - derisk
Ofcourse Tesla is going through a bad patch but remember they were the pioneers for EV and they (hopefully) will turn it around.
In the past KDR SP raised after MZN, SQM initial dip.... similarly it will go further up in a few weeks time IMHO. It is just a matter of time
