My dear Rykster your mind can boggle all it likes but you are inclined to jump to conclusions and make sweeping generalizations in order to assume the high ground of superiority. I am well aware that there has been ongoing "development" in the Amazon which has been encouraged by certain Government policies. Certainly land has been cleared for cattle farming as well as other agricultural purposes and as a way of lessening civil discontent.
That was not what I was talking about. However you jump in and twist what I was saying to your view about me. That says a lot about you.
In case you missed the point I was saying that some groups who like to push their "global climate crisis" agenda grab onto anything that suits their view and the actual facts do not matter so long as they can sensationalize the situation. The fact that their claims quickly died as the truth of the Amazon forest "fires" was exposed underscores the comment I was making.
