Cheers JID, I had not heard of Brucejack.
The grades are amazing, especially some of the core results, 1,320g/t!
What also blew me away was the capex, US $750 million, holy crap, that is expensive, for plant that processes less that 1mtpa (I know its remote, but sheesh). The exploration potential is huge, so is the mine life, so I can understand it being a Tier 1 project, but the IRR is nothing special.
I especially like this slide of the LOM of the underground development.
Anyway, great point about OGC and valuations for assets. Perhaps Haile is technically much easier to develop etc, which justifies the premium? Also the Capex is much more in line with what OGC could almost fund on its own (not that it will but still).
