@Paulfool had me thinking about our holdings the other day when he posted this statistic...

"with 27,000 shareholders now (an extra 20,000 in past 2 years) with over 2300 holding less than $500 doesn't really give confidence that anything close to $80million could be raised." https://hotcopper.com.au/posts/63762984/single

Based on a 2020 study, the ASX said that "Australia continues to be a nation of investors with close to 9 million adult Australians holding investments outside their super and primary dwelling. More than half have investments in direct shares and there has been an increase of new investors. Close to a quarter of all investors have started investing in the past 2 years and women are now making up 45% of all new investors."

So that leaves us with 0.3% of all investors (2020 numbers) who trade ASX listed companies, that actually hold IMU. It's 2022 so this amount has maybe doubled... but even still you realise your holding is quite unique in the grand scheme of things. Interesting to see what percentage of investors actually trade in the Biotech space? I guess my point is that IMU is a sleeping giant, it's really going to take something ground-breaking that's backed by science and beautiful data for everyone to wake up to it, and not just in the ASX realm either.
