o our knowledge, there is no lab that can [accurately] quantify only the actual fulvic acid molecules themselves with replicable consistency.
Depending upon the particular method of analysis used, fulvic acid molecule weights range anywhere from a low of approximately 500 Daltons** to a high of about 2,000 Daltons.
Generally, a molecular weight of 1000 Daltons corresponds to a particle length equal to approximately 1 nanometer*. Therefore, molecular weights ranging from 250 Daltons to 12,500 Daltons converts to: 0.25 to 12.5 nanometers in length.
*One nanometer equals one billionth of an inch in length.
There is no general agreement in scientific literature, nor amongst scientists, as to what the actual size and specific molecular weight is of a fulvic acid molecule, moreover, THERE IS NO UNIVERSAL STANDARD for measuring fulvic acid percentages! Furthermore, there are too many unknown acid chains, minerals, vitamins, amino acids, organic matter, etc, coexisting in the humic/fulvic realm that would have to be split off (removed) before testing, leaving ONLY the actual fulvic molecules themselves for quantification.

Our understanding is that it has been proven time and time again, that, by changing the type of testing extractant or the concentration of the testing extractant, varying percentages of fulvic acids will be measured from the same fulvic sample. In other-words, if ten separate samples of fulvic solution from the same batch are sent to ten different independent laboratories for analysis, the results will vary from lab to lab. One lab determine 8% fulvic acids, another lab may indicate 40% fulvic acids, another may report 15%, and yet another may report 1% fulvic acids, and so-forth and so-on.

With fulvic acid percentage analysis results differing from lab-to-lab (as described above), it is practically impossible to fairly compare fulvic acid products based on fulvic acid percentages. That is the reason why we do not make fulvic acid percentage claims. Based on the foregoing, we believe fulvic acid percentage claims are useless and misleading.

Our opinion is: The most important fulvic acid facts to consider are:
a) The quality of the humic material from which the product is derived, and
b) The processing method used to bring the raw humate into liquid form for human consumption.
