Great post thanks Chingy!
I was a bit nervous about their success but I followed the link to their paper and it says in the Methods section that they cooled the chip down to 4K (4 degrees Kelvin).
I wonder what would happen if they tried to use Archer's material (graphene?) for their qubits? Would it still work at room temp?
Anyway, Archer still looks to be safe in their "room temp" niche.
From what I can gather, Archer's crew will be looking to do the kind of measurements that this mob have done.
But Archer will be trying just 1 qubit (at first), whereas this group used 6.
Did I understand that correctly, Geeris? (If so, I expect a gold star and an elephant stamp!)
