Well, I think AXE is quite a long way from declaring dividends so you wont need to worry too much about that with this stock. You are probably looking to minimise capital gains by selling at an impressive profit. Youd be best to ask an accountant who is qualified to give you advice though and I am not one.
Plenty of ideas and tips here but go to an expert. Especially being close to retirement and with a decent holding. You want to get your finances right. Goodluck and well done.
