There are two ways to look at it. They are either doing what you have said which is good news for shareholders as price should increase from here or they have gone through the 36m really quickly trying to prop up the share price due to the continual pressure from people trying to get out. Either way once the buy back is complete we need news to start moving the share price north because there is no one propping up the price anymore.
