Best time to do a buy-back is after you have got all the bad news out into the Market.
Also, I think with Hamish gone, that will free up the investing team to make any hard decisions re portfolio changes.
MFG certainly deserved a share price shellacking, but true to form the Market has probably overcompensated to the down side.
