Not 100% sure if it's attributed to oil price drop. Something fishy about this but mob , even if they throw all the cash into a buy back the market will self-regulate the share price anyway reacting to a lower oil price and a company that has no future prospects. Also The more cash they burn the less chance of shares hitting the dollar mark. Or are they planning to buy the company themselves to access the cash for themselves? I would be surprised if an intense bad announcement came out to drive the price down so they can buy on market. Just like the management of Dacian gold did recently for GMD to buy it out and the lease possible price $111m for assets worth at least $300m

Still, investors remained cautious about further supply disruptions as the European Union is set to ban Russian crude flows from December, while OPEC is expected to keep supply tight.
