It's probably a good idea you don't comment anymore as you clearly do not understand the process here. A company announces a buyback when they come to the conclusion that the cheapest thing out there for us to buy right now is our own stock as it is now mis-priced by the market. And it would be foolish of them to announce a buyback and then announce a poor result not long after. I am not saying the result will be good but just inline. Consider this - Market cap in 2022 = $1.2b. Market cap now = $218m. I don't think things are that bad so it's no wonder they are doing a buyback.
