spot on when compared to other peers. they are getting lined up for a big short. you yourself know that once the dust settles and numbers start talking. RF narrative will fizzle and a couple of bad qtrs will see valuations slammed. the narrative will flip to will GMD flop? and there would be more money made shorting GMD. if GMD are not decently weighted in the index funds then there will be minimal support for the SP.
